FACILITIES
Beautiful Beach
Pantai Sumurtiga or Sumurtiga beach is one of the best beaches on Sabang island. This white sand beach is more than 2 kilometres long and ideal for jogging, walks or just to enjoy the beach and sea. The beach in front of the resort is a recognised international area where you are welcome to use your bikinis and western style swim wear. Drinks can also be enjoyed on the beach. If you venture outside this area, you are encouraged to “cover up” with shorts and t-shirts.

Since the main feature of our resort revolves around the beach we have created a range of facilities to make your beach time enjoyable.
Beach towels available on request.
Deck chairs to use on the Beach.
Rubber carpets to protect your towel and other belongings if you want to lie down on the beach.
Snorkeling equipment and life vests available for rent.
Food and drinks to order from our ala carte beach restaurant.
Shower facilities to wash off the sand before you retire to your bungalow.
Western style toilet facilities / change area.
Shaded chairs and tables to enjoy your food and drinks.
On Fridays we encourage our guests not to go swimming between 1230 and 1330. During this time it is the main Muslim Prayer time of the week when all the men go to the Mosque. We do this mainly as a show of respect to the local Muslim community. This is the only exception for the whole week.
Express room Lounge
Since our Express rooms are non-smoking rooms, we have created a special smoking area to be enjoyed by our guests.
Economy room Lounge
We have also created a relaxation area outside the Economy rooms next to the Muslim Prayer room where you can relax, meet with friends, smoke or enjoy something to eat with your friends.
New Reception Area
We have made many changes to our buildings and facilities and have created a new reception area that links well with both access points to the resort. The new reception area is central and links well with the access from the parking area and also with the beachfront walkway. We recommend that you settle your bill the night before you depart, to make your departure easy and relaxed.
Wheelchair Access
An unique feature of our resort is that we taken every care to ensure that all rooms and facilities are accessible for wheelchairs and also easy to reach for the elderly. We have created a network of walkways and ramps that will enable the elderly and those in wheelchairs to reach all facilities and rooms here at Freddies. We are very proud of this unique feature, a first for a beachfront resort on Sabang. If you need any assistance, please do not hesitate to ask the security officers at the main entrances to the resort.
Muslim Prayer Room Musholla
We have created a special Prayer facility for all our Muslim guests. It is situated in front of the Express and Economy rooms. Complete was facilities and Prayer carpets are provided.
Freddies Skywalk
This is another unique feature we have created for all visitors to Sabang and has become the main spot do take photographs and selfies on the island. It offers some of the best sea-views on Sabang.
Security Centre
We have complete CCTV coverage of all areas of the resort to ensure your safety and security. This is backed up by our own security guards to ensure that your stay with us will be safe and trouble-free.
Guest Library and Convenience Shop
The library and convenience shop is situated on the top floor of our reception building. You are welcome to enquire with our reception staff regarding the use of these facilities.
Secure Parking for Vehicles and Motorcycles
Our secure parking area for cars and motorbikes are covered with our CCTV and also patrolled by our security guards. Parking for all our guests are free.
Fish Ponds
Nature is important to us and you will notice the large variety of potted and garden plants to create a garden atmosphere. This is enhance by the two fishponds with water features we have created for your enjoyment.
ATM Facilities
We have an ATM on our premises, situated in the parking area. Secure and safe, it accepts International Visa and MasterCard cards. Many of the ATMs on Sabang do not have this facility. The ATM only provides Rp1,000,000 per withdrawal.

We now have our own travel agency who can assist you with flight bookings, car rentals, onward hotel bookings, etc. You are welcome to contact them for any travel related services you may require.
